Short Job Description:

Attaway Services is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee day-to-day field operations, crew performance, and project execution.
As Foreman, you will serve as the lead on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards while liaising with management and subcontractors.

This is an essential leadership role where you’ll direct crews, monitor job progress, and uphold company standards of professionalism, safety, and client service.
You will be the primary on-site point of contact for crews, equipment, and subcontractor coordination, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure projects remain on budget, on scope, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site crews and subcontractors: assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to schedules and scope.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage job-site logistics including equipment, material deliveries, labor allocation, and daily workflow.
  • Report daily field conditions, progress, and crew performance to the Project Manager or Superintendent.
  • Coordinate with management to escalate problems, mitigate delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient job-site operations with complete and accurate documentation.
  • Mentor, train, and provide feedback to crew members while fostering a team culture of respect and accountability.
  • Assist in quality control: inspect completed work and identify deficiencies early.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and anticipate conflicts.
  • Assist in planning upcoming phases including crew needs, equipment, material staging, and schedules.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Crew Lead, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and manage diverse field crews.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and job-site operations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to enforcing safety protocols and maintaining compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications (OSHA 30, First-Aid/CPR, etc.) preferred.
