Short Job Description:

Attaway Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our field operations team. This position plays a key role in supporting on-site crews, assisting with equipment setup, materials handling, and general construction tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist crew members and foremen with general site preparation, setup, and cleanup.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery under supervision.
• Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, sweeping, and moving materials as needed.
• Follow directions and complete tasks according to schedule and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
• Support safe work practices and wear proper PPE at all times.
• Assist in setting up barricades, signage, and work zones per supervisor instructions.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisors immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team and jobsite operations.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction, industrial, or field labor preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to take direction and work effectively within a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work on uneven terrain.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and construction practices is a plus.
• Commitment to safe work habits and compliance with company safety policies.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
